Projects
The project “Through Advocacy – Toward Better Care for Women” aims to strengthen the economic and social position of women, with a particular focus on mothers and pregnant women, by improving policies and institutional support.
The project seeks to recognize women’s unpaid labor and, in doing so, to improve judicial practice in the determination of child support. Furthermore, it addresses various forms of discrimination against pregnant women and mothers, as well as national demographic policies, with the goal of making them gender-sensitive.
The project envisages continuous advocacy, with activities carried out through workshops, dialogue forums, and public promotions, preceded by an assessment of the situation through policy and monitoring briefs. Through public statements, it will encourage professional and public debate on the systemic changes needed for better realization of women’s rights. The project will also work on providing direct support to women who have experienced discrimination related to pregnancy and motherhood, and will support their return to the labor market. The ultimate goal is concrete institutional changes that lead to fair and inclusive care for women and mothers.
