CENTER FOR EQUALITY AND JUSTICE (official abbreviation CEP) is an independent, non-partisan, non-governmental, and non-profit association of citizens that advocates for a just, inclusive, and gender-equal society and operates throughout the entire territory of the Republic of North Macedonia.

CEP works on:

  • Improving the system of support and care for girls, boys, and women through continuous support and advocacy for institutional and systemic changes.
  • Influencing laws and policies in order to reduce gender gap, improve people’s health and social status, promote equality, and advance the care economy.
  • Promoting gender and social justice through the promotion of the principle of the rule of law.
  • Education and promotion of the principles of non-discrimination and gender equality through new and innovative approaches and media, including within the business sector, education, and the online space.

Neda Chalovska Dimovska

President of CEP

Neda Chalovska Dimovska is the President and one of the founders of the Center for Equality and Justice. She is Attorney at Law and holds a Master of Laws and has been working on legal issues related to human rights, gender equality and non-discrimination for 13 years. As a mother of two, she also actively works to promote the rights of pregnant women, parents and children, with the aim of creating better policies to support families.

Project Coordinator

Tatjana is a Project Coordinator at the Center for Equality and Justice, with extensive experience in project design, management, and successful implementation of initiatives funded by international organizations and institutions.

Recently, she has also been working on digitalization and digital products, successfully bridging her experience in the civil society sector with digital innovation.
